It is common place for noise, vibration and dust monitoring to be required for demolition and construction sites. Assistance from an acoustic consultant is also required to complete the noise and vibration sections of a Construction Management Plan (CMP), undertake BS5228 assessment, and liaise with the Local Authority to obtain Section 61 consent.
With monitoring experience and providing CMP & Section 61 assistance with many major main contractors, we have expert knowledge of demolition/construction methodology, Local Authority Council Code of Construction Practice (CoCP) documentation, planning consent and BS5228 assessment.
Pulsar Acoustics can provide bespoke noise, vibration and dust monitoring systems to suit your project needs. Our systems can run indefinitely on batteries and solar, transmit data via 3G/4G/Wifi to cloud based servers, thus removing the need for on-site mains power and long trailing cables. Monitoring systems can be installed to help regulate the impact on the local community, and provide noise, vibration and dust alerts via text or email.
During demolition, groundwork, piling and construction phases, we can assess the potential noise and vibration impact from the proposed methodology and machinery, provide suitable wording for your CMP, liaise with the neighbouring community, and the Local Authority to obtain Section 61 consent.
